Feelin' Stronger Every Day
I finally made it back home last night at about 6:30 p.m. My flight back to Chicago Wednesday night was delayed and didn't get into the airport until after midnight. I couldn't bear driving home during the night so I stayed overnight at my Mom's house in the suburbs.
I do not know what kind of virus I caught in Las Vegas, but I am glad that I am getting back to normal. I ate two meals yesterday for the first time since Sunday. Whereas most people might gain weight in Las Vegas, I actually lost some. I still feel fatigued and hope to get in some good sleep time this weekend.
More Las Vegas trip posts will follow in the next couple of days.

Ack! Glad to hear you're on the mend. BTW - I loved spending time with you in Vegas. Yes, I'm being sincere but don't expect it to continue. :)
We didn't even go inside! Just took a photo at the door. Maybe it came from Taylor Hicks?
Glad you are on the mend. As to what got you sick.....that hooker that you and ManInBlack met....are you sure you guys just said "no thanks" when she asked you guys for a date.
Has anyone heard from ManInBlack since?
I love to go to Vegas, but I also love to get home. Looking forward to some posts.
Stop licking Windows!!! Glad to hear you are doing well. You probably got the Norovirus or whatever they get on cruises..
Jesus Gary, I could have done without that repulsive thought. Thanks a lot.
"What did Tootsie say to me the day I proposed marriage to her"
The following is an appetizing summary of the word "transmission:"
The term usually refers to the transmission of microorganisms directly from one person to another by one or more of the following means:
droplet contact – coughing or sneezing on another person
direct physical contact – touching an infected person, including sexual contact
indirect physical contact – usually by touching soil contamination or a contaminated surface
airborne transmission – if the microorganism can remain in the air for long periods
fecal-oral transmission – usually from contaminated food or water sources
Yep -- I lurve thinking about that last one!
"Lurve" are you a fan of Georgia Nichols?
I agree with Rob re Gary's comment. I am sure the next time i come down with flu-like symptoms, his very evocative phrase will run through my brain with nauseating regularity.
Light - glad you're on the mind regardless of root cause!
